Elegant brands for refined interiors

Exceptional comfort and timeless design
Edra takes its name from “exedra”, a seated space in a Greek or Roman house that opened onto a courtyard: a place for conversation and meeting. As the name suggests, Edra is devoted to sofas and comfortable seating.

Since 1987, Edra has created timeless, exclusive upholstered furniture in Tuscany. Each piece is designed and made with precision to be distinctive and unmistakable, combining exceptional comfort with a long life.
The magic of glass
50 years of Italian design history
Founded in 1973 by designer and entrepreneur Vittorio Livi, this family business brought glassmaking to a new level. Fiam first became known for transparent objects with flowing forms and iconic mirrors.

Today, the brand explores moods ranging from Pure and Modern to Sophisticated. Glass, sometimes coloured, is shaped into varied forms with unusual surface textures.
A love of craftsmanship and sustainability
Based in Ostercappeln near Osnabrück since 1972, the company’s growing team transforms solid wood into individual design furniture. For me, it is Germany’s leading wooden furniture workshop, with exceptional expertise in working precious solid timber and even entire tree trunks.

Unusual customer wishes become sustainable furniture for generations. Founder Reinhard Scholtissek, who died in 2024, was both a passionate wood enthusiast and an artist. Alongside the furniture, the brand’s exhibition stands have featured his paintings, animal figures and little treasure boxes with secret compartments made from rare woods.

A wonderful beginning for our first Homestorys design
When our furniture business Villa Romana became Homestorys, we designed a small piece for our customers to celebrate the new name: the Homestorys Box, made for us by Scholtissek. Although modest in size, it received Alexander Haas’s enthusiastic support and became a great success with our customers.
The box has a reversible, removable lid that can serve as a tray. Turned over, it locks into place, transforming the box into a stool or a building block for a storage unit.
Beautifully designed ceramic tables
For indoors and outdoors
JOLI is an entirely Belgian design brand, founded in 1996 by John Ghekiere, whose eye for functional design is behind many of its creations. JOLI offers distinctive ceramic tables with matching chairs or stools, accessories and occasional furniture.

Many brands have introduced ceramic tables in recent years. Their tops look elegant indoors and outdoors while being highly durable, scratch-resistant, frost-proof and UV-resistant. When it comes to aesthetics and beauty — “joli” means beautiful in French — JOLI’s surfaces and table designs are among the most distinctive.
The most Italian of Germany’s high-end design makers
With a special appreciation of inner values
Walter Knoll furniture is much more than a sofa. It expresses an outlook shaped by openness, modernity, a love of quality and precision, and a commitment to sustainability. A Walter Knoll sofa is a considerable investment, but its owners know what they value in it. The brand offers a complete interior concept, from upholstered and occasional furniture to rugs, dining tables, chairs and exceptional cabinets.

Legends of Carpets
The idea for Legends of Carpets began on a journey to Marrakesh. Impressions, travel accounts and the distinctive light inspired artist Helmut Scheufele to create abstract paintings. These became rug designs: textures, yarns and colours were developed, then expertly hand-knotted in Nepal using wool, silk and nettle fibres.

A specialist in contemporary rug design
Made entirely in Belgium
Limited Edition rugs capture attention at first glance, yet behind each lie hours, sometimes days, of skilled handwork. The family company described here employs around 200 people and operates weaving, tufting, dyeing and spinning facilities around Mouscron.

The rugs are made in Belgium to individual sizes and specifications. Depending on their use, materials include wool, linen, silk and fibres such as Econyl or seagrass.
Traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary design
Works of art in silk and Tibetan highland wool
Mario Severin founded miinu in 2010 with a passion for the centuries-old art of rug making. His idea was to unite traditional skills with innovative contemporary design.

Handwork is central to preserving individuality and craftsmanship. Every knot is tied with precision and care to form an exquisite pattern, with luxurious softness and a captivating silky play of colour.
Contemporary design in cowhide and sheepskin
Small rug masterpieces, made locally
Caroline Bollette and Michael Hansen founded Spotted. in Eupen, combining creative design with carefully selected natural materials. Their aim is to help customers find creations that express their personalities. They favour natural materials because they believe these can positively influence our energy and emotions.

Home of sleep
Pure pleasure for those who value good sleep
Schramm has made beds by hand since 1923. The company described here has around 200 employees and takes a comprehensive approach to sleeping comfort: distinctive materials, sustainable craftsmanship and sophisticated technology. Its Pure, Originals and Grand Cru ranges are complemented by a home collection of matching duvets and bed linen.

Light, beautifully composed

Culture of Light
Occhio combines three essentials: outstanding lighting design, exceptional light quality and intuitive, almost playful ease of use. Founded by Axel Meise in Munich in 1999, it has grown into an international high-end lifestyle brand.

Occhio — Italian for “eye” — begins with the belief that good light improves quality of life, taking sunlight as its benchmark. This conviction led Axel Meise to rethink conventional lighting. As a student and later the owner of Munich’s Lichtgalerie design lighting shop, he was dissatisfied with the disconnected styles and colours of the 1980s market. Many customers felt the same. He recognised the need for a coherent system for a room or an entire home, and developed a modular concept adapted to individual lives and habits. His ambition remains consistent aesthetics and design, combined with sophisticated technology. His vision: a perfectly composed experience of light.

International design
And the Bohemian art of glassblowing
Brokis is the vision of Czech entrepreneur and engineer Jan Rabell. He founded the brand in 2006 to revitalise Bohemian glassmaking and preserve generations of knowledge and craftsmanship. Today, the company combines hand-blown glass with fine materials such as wood and hand-pressed metal in bold lighting compositions.

Lighting sculptures from Canada
Remarkable things happen when designer Omer Arbel experiments with materials. Glass objects form bubbles, merge with fabric or look as though seeds or pollen have been blown into them. At Bocci, founded in Vancouver in 2005, he explores the properties of materials. His creations celebrate individuality and turn apparent imperfections into defining features.
The right accessories for distinctive accents

Small glass artworks with worldwide appeal

GUAXS hand-blown glass vessels are sought after worldwide as decorative objects and lamps. They feel equally at home in an Italian design villa or an old farmhouse. Given space to breathe, their simple yet distinctive beauty is immediately apparent. Light playing through coloured glass, including candlelight in the lanterns, delights lovers of art and unusual decoration.

The mysterious world of exotic
scents and colours
Exceptional candles to fall in love with
Ilse Vandeputte had already spent 20 years making candles and scented candles with her husband in Belgium when an anniversary trip to Tanzania in 2014 made her fall in love with its nature, rich colours and intense fragrances.

She decided to share those scents with others. The selection described here includes around 18 fragrances, largely inspired by her travels in Tanzania. Exclusive fragrances in artistic glass vessels open a world of warm colours and exotic perfumes.

Travel through books to other countries
And into the world of luxury brands
Prosper and Martine Assouline founded Assouline in Paris in 1994 as a luxury brand devoted to culture. Alongside special editions and distinctive library accessories, the publisher’s catalogue described here comprises around 2,000 titles in three main collections, distributed through boutiques in prominent locations worldwide.

Luxury names such as Rolex, Chanel and Patek Philippe have found in Assouline a valued partner for presenting their creative heritage and making it tangible.

New Luxury
Our business and my book are intended above all for people who love what they do. They are busy, but their work inspires them; perhaps they have even turned a hobby into a profession. Their families and homes matter to them too, and they are willing to invest in them because they care. We offer luxury brands, but we do not want exclusivity to mean speaking only to millionaires. We want to make the luxury of a beautiful home more accessible, while favouring brands that care about sustainability, the environment and people.
